New Mexico Blended Learning Bureau
The New Mexico Public Education Department’s (PED) Blended Learning Bureau empowers teachers to maximize their finite time, unique talents, and emerging technologies to transform the educational experiences and achievements of the students they serve.
Projects and Highlights:
- Develop story around blended learning and communicate to all stakeholders in order to garner buy-in and demonstrate commitment moving forward throughout New Mexico.
- Ensure policies and practices at state level support adoption of blended learning practices, with particular focus on procurement of world-class curriculum and continued development of an open-source LMS.
- Identify how the role of educators are redefined in a blended classroom and support efforts that equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to make the transition.
- Utilize blended learning practices in PED and other state-level trainings, resources and supports in order to demonstrate potential impact within schools and classrooms.
